Here's a weird concept from an even weirder source: a pair of heat-to-energy cellphone charging boots from European telecom giant Orange. Called "Orange Power Wellies" after the popular rain boot, the kicks use a power-generating sole that charge a phone faster the more active the wearer gets.

Most phone chargers keep sucking up the juice even when your phone is fully charged. It's a big ol' waste of electricity. That's not the case with AT&T's new ZERO Charger, which is designed to stop all that wasteful chargin'....
