The sWaP Rebel had me doing a double take because I thought it was yet another iPod Nano watch, but it's not. It's actually a cellphone, camera, music player, video player, clock, FM radio, calendar and e-reader rolled into one — worn on your wrist. Did I hear Dick Tracy calling?
 
Like the HD-DVD vs Blu-ray format war, there are those who are for 3D and those against it. Back then, Sony positioned it's PlayStation 3 as a Blu-ray player first — a box that offered the highest quality movies that money could buy. That was in 2006. Today, the PS3 remains fundamentally the same, only this time Sony is telling you to take a leap of faith with 3D. DVICE was invited to test drive a few 3D PS3 games at a special event and I have to say, I walked away fairly shocked at how much 3D added to the overall gaming experience, despite my aversion to it.
 
Video games aren't as simple as they used to be. Now, you got to hop all over your living room playing Wii Sports clones or "enjoy" getting shot in the head repeatedly in Call of Duty. Once upon a time, things were different. The graphics were limited and the sound was all blippy-sounding. With Pac-Man and Super Mario both celebrating their 30th and 25th birthdays since their original debuts, respectively, DVICE decided to pay a tribute to all that was and still is great about 8-bit gaming with 10 of the best gifts for those who just love what 8-bit represents in style and form.
