Video of the Day: The 2012 Ig Nobel Prize Winner
Not to be confused with the Nobel Prize, the Ig Nobel Prize gives out ten awards each year at Harvard University's Sanders Theatre for the weirdest and silliest scientific discoveries. According to the official website, they award "research that makes people LAUGH and then THINK."
This year, Kazutaka Kurihara and Koji Tsukada of Japan won the acoustic prize for their "SpeechJammer." If you know someone who rambles on and on during conversation, this machine will interrupt them by playing back what they say with a slight delay, like an echo.
