It's rare that a major amusement park stumbles onto a license to print money, but that just may be the case with the Carbon-Freeze Me promotion recently held by Disney's Hollywood Studios.
The special offer allowed visitors to have their faces scanned into a 3D printer and placed on the body of the iconic Star Wars' carbon frozen figure of Han Solo. The finished product, measuring 7.34-inches long and 3-inches wide, sold for $99.95 each, is a bargain price for any true fan of the franchise looking to immortalize themselves in Star Wars lore.
Unfortunately, the promotion only lasted about month, ending on June 16. But the company may restart the program in the future so keep an eye out. You check out the Carbon-Freeze Me process in the video below.
