We've seen some crazy motorcycles based on movie franchises before, but they're usually designed to evoke fear and/or coolness. However, every once in a while, we get something that transcends cool factor and lands squarely in movie geek territory.
Despite being festooned with skulls and featuring a giant replica of the iconic alien hunter at its front, the Predator Bike isn't a terrifyingly cool street bike, it's more like a too-on-the-nose homage to the extraterrestrial villain. But aside from the overload of skulls, the real attention getter on the streets will be the alien dreadlocks pointing ahead that scream, "No, I don't care if you don't understand what alien dreadlocks are, I 'own' this." However, we have to give extra points for the inclusion of the shoulder-mounted laser canon--that's just awesome.
We don't have all the details on the bike's designer, but we salute his or her dedication to science fiction in the service of motorcycle culture. The photo was shared by HDNET television host Art Mann, capturing a moment from one of his epic road trips through the U.S.
