Artist renders 'iPhone 5' in 3D based on leaked rumor reports

Bummed by last year's iPhone 4S spec bump? Blackpool Creative took the handful of leaked "iPhone 5" parts and created a 3D render of what Apple might launch later this year. Here's a sneak peak at what an iPhone with a 4-inch display would look like.

As you can see in the video and the lovely renders in the gallery, the 4-inch display closely follows the leaked reports. The changes you'll see are a Retina display with a 1136 x 640 resolution, a metal back plate, redesigned speaker grills and micro charging port.

It's believed that using a metal plate will allow the next iPhone to be thinner, as there won't be a separate glass cover on the rear. It'll also be a win for everybody's who has ever dropped and cracked their iPhone 4/4S backs.

Apple's holding its WWDC conference next week on June 11, and all signs (literally) point to iOS 6 making its big debut with new Apple 3D maps, Facebook integration and full-blown Siri on the iPad.

Stay tuned for next week, because it's going to be a big one for new Apple products.
