If your childhood swimming experiences included fantasies of somehow becoming Aquaman and powering through the water like the master of the sea, a new device won't give you gills, but will bring you a little closer to the dream.
The Powerbreather is a new design approach to the traditional snorkel that allows you to swim indefinitely while drawing in air and preventing water from entering the breathing chamber. The elastic device wraps snugly around the head so it can be used for swimmers of all ages. The device is still in development for the commercial market, so no pricing has been announced.
