$2.8 million Leica camera is new world's most expensive camera

Leica cameras are notoriously expensive. But how much would you be willing to pay for a vintage Leica 0-Serie camera from 1923? $8,000 and you toss in some color? Give me a break, try $2,790,000.
Got your checkbook ready? Too late! The working-condition Leica was just sold at the WestLicht Photographica auction in Vienna on Saturday.
Details include original paintwork, matching lens cover and a replacement Galilean finder. It's one of 25 Leica-0 Serie cameras ever made.
Hop to the gallery. This is what a real camera looks like. Not some fancy-pants new DSLR that can basically shoot in pure darkness. Ha!
