YouTube releases The YouTube Collection, just in time for April Fool's Day

In the competitive world of online video service April Fool's Day gags, Hulu was definitely the favored horse last year with its 1996 home page.

This year, though, YouTube raised the stakes with its DVD collection release: The YouTube Collection.

Coming with a fairly believable e-commerce site, and a fantastic (and hilarious) commercial (see below), YouTube's gag at least had me going for a few seconds.

After being convinced by the review by Tai, the Japanese police office, you can go through the ordering process. Choose your preferred method of delivery and format (I went with freight vessel and Betamax). Then just wait until June of 2045, the expected delivery date.
