Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has just unveiled their upcoming SUV, which should be able to get you to your shack out in the woods faster than anything else off the road.
The Urus might seem like a departure for a company that makes cars for the smoothest of roads, but Lamborghini actually made an earlier SUV way back in the 1980s called the LM-002. Then when you add in the company's tractor building roots, the whole project actually starts to make some sense. After all, who could have predicted a Porsche SUV 15 years ago?
Details on the Urus are a little sketchy, but it is predicted to have a V-10 engine producing 600 horsepower, giving it a 0-60-mph time of around four seconds. Perfect for getting down to the ol' fishing hole before everyone else.
The car unveiled today at the Beijing Motor Show is just a concept, but Lamborghini says the real thing will arrive sometime between 2015 and 2017. Price will be around $200,000, so try not to scratch the paint on the trees as you head down that rutted path.
