Bicycle hack lets you DJ while riding through the city

The street cultures of BMX bike riders and hip-hop turntablism have been linked for years, but only now has one group married the two in a way that could actually create a brand new, music-infused sport.

The Turntable Rider is a set up created by Japan's Cogoo that adds DJ essentials like a fader to your handlebars, jog wheels to your bike's wheels, and sound pads controlled by your brake handles, thus allowing the rider to deliver DJ performances while riding. There are currently no firm plans to offer the device commercially, but the company will consider selling it widely if it receives strong social media interest.
