New iPad's Retina Display shot with assault rifle AND shotgun

For Richard "RatedRR" Ryan, nothing says "I love you" more than shooting the living daylights out of a new Apple product. With the new iPad launched, Ryan spared no time in shining up the old assault rifle and shotgun to show Apple's new tablet who's boss.

The new iPad's first maker? An HK53 assault rifle with .223 rounds. How did the new iPad hold up? After shooting it up, Ryan concludes the iPad's glass holds the bullet wounds in place, even though the display is not bonded to the glass like on the iPhone 4/4S.

To finish the job and really make some fireworks, Ryan grabs an M4 Benelli shotgun loaded with metal dart-like Flechette ammo and two slugs connected with steel wire.

We're not going to tell you what happens, but let's just say that AppleCare doesn't cover what happens to this iPad.
