iPad's screen not large enough? How about a 13.3-inch tablet?
If you think a 10-inch tablet is not suitable for consuming your favorite content, Toshiba's got a big surprise for you. Introducing its 13.-3-inch AT330 tablet — arguably one the largest, if not the largest — consumer Android tablet to date.
TechFokus snagged an exclusive of the Hulk of tablets at Toshiba World 2012 and it's a solid little tablet — on paper.
The tablet should be a speedy little slate with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor powering Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Its screen is believed to be a 1900x1200 resolution display (according to Android Community), and it has a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera. Given its size, it also roomy enough to have a SIM card slot, SD card slot and HDMI port.
The biggest attraction on the AT330 other than its gargantuan size is a built-in TV tuner.
Pricing and release are TBA, but so far, Toshiba's newest tablet player seems like a decent competitor. It's slim, light and gets TV channels live over the air. We'll definitely be keeping a closer tab on the AT330.
