iPhone-branded cooking stoves seized in China

China's reputation for selling knock-offs products with illegal branding is well known. But the latest infraction from the region involves iPhone branding on the most unlikely product you could ever imagine.

Police in China recently raided a warehouse and seized 681 iPhone-branded cooking stoves. And we're not just talking about just name snatching, the stove makers even appropriated the famous Apple logo. I'm not sure what is more outlandish, that the makers opted to put the iPhone branding on such a non-techie product, or that somewhere in China there actually exists a group of consumers gullible enough to believe that Steve Jobs worked on producing cheap stoves before his passing.
