Electrode suit treats nerve disorders with space captain style

Perhaps the most useful wearable tech we'll ever have is something that can actually improve our bodies. Now one Swedish inventor has done just that for those with nerve disorders.

Developed by Fredrik Lundqvist, the Elektrodress is a body suit filled with strategically placed electrodes designed improve muscle function for those suffering from cerebral palsy, Parksinon's or multiple sclerosis. The idea initially received wide exposure on the Swedish TV show Dragon's Den, a reality show where entrepreneurs pitch ideas for funding (it's actually the original show the U.S.-produced Shark Tank is based upon).

The Knowledge Foundation has granted the project roughly $300,000 to see its further development. You can see the suit in action the video below.
