Most basic furniture is pretty boring. Sure, you can come up with some pretty groove designs, but it's hard to stay too excited. This dresser from Danish designer Jakob Joergensen breaks the mold, with a wild swinging drawer mechanism that spices things up.
The Fjarill chest has 14 drawers which can rotate once they are pulled out, creating some cool patterns depending on how many you open. Best of all, the Fjarill is available for sale in a limited edition of just 20 units. The price is one of those "on application" deals, so I guess I'll just wait for the Ikea knockoff version.
