This tiny box streams music and more to your car without any installation

There are multiple ways of playing music stored on your smartphone through your car stereo's system, but what about video — assuming you have a video display in your vehicle.

Kivic One solves the problem.

Kivic One, which is about the size of a deck of cards, creates a direct Wi-Fi link with your smartphone (any smartphone with Wi-Fi). You then jack Kivic One with an included A/V cable to your car's video unit (don't ask me how — not only don't I own a car video screen, I don't even own a car), and you can now stream the content from your phone to your car's theater system.

You don't even need a separate app for your iPhone, but you will for your Android. Kivic One, available for $200 in March, also is AirPlay and DLNA compatible to use at home with your TV, because you have no way to get content onto your TV. The best part? No installation required.
