HTML5 runs Command and Conquer, is now relevant

What has HTML5 done for you lately? Yeah, I don't exactly know either, except that you can apparently code it to play a passable version of Command and Conquer.
Aditya Ravi Shankar, a programmer in India, has managed to recreate the original Command and Conquer entirely in Javascript and HTML5. He's just got the first level working so far, but it's totally playable: there are build menus, sounds, animations, intelligent pathing and a halfway decent AI. All of this only took him about three weeks (working all by himself), and one of those weeks he had a fever, so just keep that in mind if you've got any complaints about features that don't work or whatever.
