Electronic suspenders correct horrible posture, but not your style

Next to the perfect chair, what many of desk jockeys crave most is a reliable way to help them maintain good posture. Now a devoted tinkerer has created a solution that may help your back, but won't necessarily improve your wardrobe.

The Posture Suspenders were developed by Tobias Sonne, a student from Denmark studying at Carnegie Mellon University. The suspenders detect a slouch and deliver real-time vibration alerts to immediately remind you to correct your posture. Using an Arduino Pro Mini microcontroller board, a normal pair of suspenders, an XeBee wireless radio and a 3.6 volt battery, Sonne has created a device that could ultimately save your back.
