DVICE takes on CES, starting this Sunday

It's that time again. The biggest, meanest and totally crazy tech expo of the year is rearing it's ugly head, and your intrepid DVICE crew will be there in force to take it head on. Here's what we're planning, and what you can expect.

We're All About Concepts

You may have noticed that we enjoy writing about conceptual and near-future technology 'round these parts, and our approach to CES is no different. We figure you're going to get bombarded with plenty of new phones and the like from our friends in the blogosphere, and while we'll have the latest and greatest phones, tablets, laptops and more, we'll also be digging deep for those blow-your-mind concepts.

That, and we're a small team — plainly speaking, we can't bombard you with everything the show floor has to offer. The upside to this is the stuff we're showing you is the stuff we actually think is cool, not just gadget spam we're tossing out there in the midst of CES fever.

How To Get Your Fix

If you want to see everything, there's no better way to do that than to stay locked on the DVICE homepage. You can also find us on Facebook, on our Twitter, on your RSS reader of choice and by way of our newsletter.

Want to get our attention? Faceook, Twitter and editor at DVICE dot com is the best way to make that happen.

For video, we'll put up what we shoot in posts, but there's no better way to see our stuff right now than on Syfy's video app on the Xbox 360. We've pushed some video there in preparation for the CES blitz — give it a look if you're all up in XBL. Apologies to our international readers: it has come to my attention that the Syfy video app is only available to U.S. users at this time, which means DVICE's HD video on the Xbox is as well.

Aaand that's enough out of me. From myself and all of your DVICE writers from various places all the world over, thanks for giving us such a great 2011, and we look forward to earning your continued readership in 2012.
