Crowd-sourced Star Wars Uncut movie is the most epic geek homage

It took three years, but Casey Pugh's feature-length Star Wars Uncut: Director's Cut, a recreation of Star Wars made with fan created scenes is finally available for your viewing pleasure.

Proving once again that the impossible is possible, Pugh's Director's Cut is the ultimate tribute to George Lucas' classic. The cast isn't an all-star one with the likes of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher or Harrison Ford and sometimes Darth Vader is a chick, but it's still entertaining through and through.

This being a retelling of Star Wars: A New Hope, starring fans and figurines, you really never know what to expect. From paper craft to toddlers, if you've got a spare two hours, hop to watching this film.

Thankfully Pugh is faithful to the original film — Han shoots first.

If you're tight on time, bookmark it for tonight or save it for the weekend. You won't regret it.

Now, can we get a remake of Return of the Jedi? I'm sure fans would go to town with the thought of multiple girls portraying Princess Leia in her famous golden bikini.
