Video: trippy Christmas house with 32,000 LEDs synced to dubstep
I've seen people go over the top decorating their houses with Christmas lights and ornaments, but having 32,000 LED lights synchronized to dubstep is just too much. Santa and Rudolph would have a seizure from a mile away figuring out how to land on this tricked out roof.
Compared to the playable Angry Birds light show we saw yesterday, this house uses 12,000 more LED lights and 54 more Light-O-Rama 16 channel controllers. I think we have our champion!
Sixteen-year-old YouTube user yz85zak says the entire house light show was rigged up with help from his dad and is located in Meridian, Idaho.
The description for the video also solves the mystery of how much his electricity bill must be:
ALSO.... No, my electric bill isn't that high, I'm on level pay all year for it so it's cheaper. And no, my neighbors don't hate me, in fact, almost everybody within a 10 mile radius LOVE the light show, And no, I don't have anything against people with epilepsy.... I just enjoy making my lights flash a lot ;)
So there you have it. His bill isn't soaring through the roof and his neighbors don't despise all the lights. That's the spirit!
You can watch the entire trippy LED show down below. Now, how do this with a tiny New York City apartment without the cops showing up at my door?
There's tons more videos of the kid's house synched to other songs as well. Find those on yz85zak's YouTube channel here.
