Walkable roller coaster features loop only Sonic can run through

Meet Germany's walkable roller coaster: "Crouching Tiger and Turtle, Magic Mountain." Located in Duisburg, the art piece encourages visitors to walk through its twists and turns to see the surrounding landscape from different views and heights. However, that loop can't be walked.

Created by sculptors Ulrich Genth and Heike Mutter, "Crouching Tiger and Turtle, Magic Mountain" is named so because "the roller coaster represents acceleration and the high speed of a tiger but the sightseer has to investigate it step by step like a turtle."

There's historical significance too. The sculpture is made from steel and zinc — a tribute to Duisberg's steel manufacturing company Krupp Mannesmann.

A ticket costs 1.7 Euros or about $2.30 so if you're traveling for the holidays to Duisburg, you may want to check it out.
