Video: huge snakebot and spiderbot would terrify kids to death
Holy Decepticons, this huge slithering snakebot is freaky-deaky. If you love snakes, this 50-foot long robo snake made to replicate the prehistoric Titanoboa is all shades of awesome. If like me, you hate snakes, well, you're in for nightmares tonight my friend!
Created by Charlie Brinson and his team of professionals, the Titanoboa snakebot can slither around just like a regular snake. It has numerous electronic brain chips located along its spine and did we mention there are plans to put a saddle on it for riders? How insane is that? Riding a 50-foot robosnake?
You can see in the video below the Titanoboa snakebot getting its freak on with a Mondo Spider robot (with rider) in the background. I'm all for robots, but if I saw one of these slithering down the street, I'd probably wet my pants real bad.
Total cost to build one of these robot snakes is estimated to be about $10,000. Jeebus!
