The iOS DVICE app just got a whole lot better

We've been hard at work here at DVICE HQ steadily improving how our app functions. You asked us to improve sharing, add in-app commenting and more. We've heard you, and here's all the great new features you can enjoy starting right now.

DVICE app version 3.0 is already live on the App Store and fully optimized for iOS 5. That means only iPhones and iPads are able to feel the love at the moment, but don't worry Android users — the update should land before the month's out. (I'm an Android user myself, so you better believe I'm pushing for it.)

So, what do you get for that same low low price of free?

In-App Commenting: Have something to say? Now you can tell us right from the app, and it's easier than ever when you use your Facebook account. Twitter accounts can't directly comment using this method just yet, but it's something we'd like to see soon.

Sharing: Sharing articles is now just a finger poke away. Share DVICE articles on Facebook, Twitter and email without interrupting your app experience.

Favorite Articles You Like: You can now favorite articles, which will let you read them later offline. This is particularly useful if you were stirring up conversation on a post and wanted to keep it going without having to jump through a lot of navigational hoops.

Photos and Galleries: If you really like a photo we put up, you can now save it to your iOS phone or tablet and make it your background, profile picture, or anything you like. It's also easier to enjoy our galleries via our app — just look at the bottom of the article, and you'll find a link that takes you to all the associated images.
