GTA V trailer reveals next digital city you'll loot and destroy

Here it is, the official trailer for Grand Theft Auto V. Are you ready for more GTA? It's been three years since the release of Grand Theft Auto IV and fans finally can see the new game in action.

As you can probably tell, the game looks to be set in Los Santos or as the GTA universe's version of Los Angeles. Sound familiar? Yeah Rockstar released GTA: San Andreas back in 2004 for the PlayStation 2. GTA IV looks like it'll be returning back there.

It follows a yet-to-be-named character who "wanted to retire and become a family man" and "be a good guy for once." But rarely are things so simple.

While a trailer doesn't give us any indication as to how tight the gameplay is, from what we can tell, the graphics looked slightly improved from GTA IV and we're hoping the driving controls are better as well.

Rockstar hasn't announced what consoles GTA V will be released on, but we can kind of make an educated guess that it'll show up on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The bigger question is whether or not Nintendo will be able to convince Rockstar to release it on the Wii U as well.

Enjoy the trailer and don't forget to watch it in 720p HD.

UPDATE: Rockstar's founder Sam Houser said GTA V "heads to the city of Los Santos and surrounding hills, countryside and beaches in the largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created."

It's also "A bold new direction in open-world freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer, Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a re-imagined, present-day Southern California."

That's all we needed to hear. ONLINE. MULTIPLAYER.
