Carbon fiber Stormtrooper suits cost as much as a new car

Think you know everything there is to know about a Stormtrooper? You really haven't until you've seen these carbon fiber Stormtroopers. It's the epitome of excess, but who can resist looking at these and not declare they're impressive? It's hard to find a reason to dislike them.

Carbon fiber is durable and light, but boy is it expensive. Leonard Carson, an engineering technician for San Diego Composites knew the cost of building a carbon fiber Stormtrooper suit would be pricey, but he managed to use his persuasive Jedi mind tricks on three of his colleagues and convince them to build their own too.

Using Grade A carbon fiber, Carson and his boys got to work, even impressing their company's boss enough to have him foot some of the cost, so long as they build one to decorate their office lobby.

Carson's not disclosing how much the carbon fiber Stormtroopers cost to build, but he did provide a hint: you can buy a nice car with the money spent. How nice of a car? One can only dream.

How much do you think these Stormtrooper suits are worth? Imagine how much more fearsome Darth Vader's army could have been if they had armor made out of carbon fiber instead of that crappy white stuff.
