Garage Band has long been a popular app for the iPad, allowing the musically inclined among us to make music with multiple instruments and tracks right on the tablet. But it's never been available on the smaller screens of the iPhone or iPod Touch, until now.
Apple's just released Garage Band for the iPhone, available for $5 in the app store. It'll let you write music for a number of instruments, arrange them as you see fit, and export your creations to share them with others. Sure, it's probably better suited for a bigger screen such as the iPads, but the iPad doesn't fit in your pocket, does it?
