Stop! WireDoo time! OK, that doesn't have the same ring to it as Hammertime, but WireDoo is the name of MC Hammer's new search engine, and he's gotta market it somehow.
Yes, MC Hammer has pulled a search engine out of his billowy pants, one that's focused on "deep search." What's that mean?
Hammer explained a search for a car is not just about the car, but about the model, the mileage, the specs and even the zipcode (you likely want to buy from a local dealer). A search for a home is related to the surrounding community, schools, neighborhood condition and other related concerns.
Seems reasonable enough. But doesn't Google already offer up contextual search results that are similar to this? If you search for a physical location, it brings up the map, and things like that. I'm not really sure why someone would go to a different search engine for a different type of results like this. After all, if you search for a car and want "the model, the mileage, the specs and even the zipcode," that's no more than one click away from normal Google results.
But hey, he's gotta pay for those pants somehow. You'd be surprised how much fabric they require!
