That Apple is planning to release a fancy HDTV is one of the longest-held rumors in Apple land. But is it actually finally going to happen?
In the new biography released today, Jobs told Walter Isaacson that "I'd like to create an integrated television set that is completely easy to use. It would be seamlessly synced with all of your devices and with iCloud. It will have the simplest user interface you could imagine. I finally cracked it." That certainly sounds promising!
And analysts think the time may be right, with iCloud, iTunes and the App Store all able to be integrated tightly with a potential Apple HDTV. What do you think? What would Apple need to put into a TV to make it worth buying over a more traditional model?
