If you've got a phone that was provided by your job, you know that your data and phone aren't really yours. It's an annoying thing to have to worry about, with non-work-related emails easily accessible to your office's IT guy. But AT&T's new Toggle lets you balance things a bit better.
The new Toggle app, which is coming to Android smartphones, lets devices switch between a work mode and a personal mode. Work mode will allow access to the corporate email, calendars and apps that you need to do your job, while everything else will live in personal mode. Your company's IT department can then manage the apps and content in work mode, while leaving your personal stuff alone. A nice balance, no?
