The Game Boy was a huge hit because it was portable, allowing you to play video games wherever you went. This giant Game Boy mounted on a wall? Not so much.
Created for the reception area of South Africa's 21tanks, this supersized Game Boy — shaped like an NES controller or a Game Boy Micro — is made up of an old monitor and some large buttons connected to an Arduino control board, which then sends the signals along to a PC running the games on a browser. So yeah, you can game on it, and it's pretty neat, but without you being able to take the thing with you it just doesn't quite feel like a Game Boy.
