Netflix has just signed a two-year deal with Discovery Communications, making every week Shark Week for subscribers to the beleaguered streaming service.
The deal will bring shows over from the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, TLC and a few other networks owned by Discovery. So shows like American Chopper, MythBusters*, Man vs. Wild, Deadliest Catch, and more will be coming to streaming, which is great news for people who like watching sharks and/or people drinking their own pee. Which is to say, most people.
*MythBusters is already on Netflix, though only two of seven seasons are available for streaming, and it looks like Netflix doesn't have seasons eight or nine.
