How to make the world's cheapest car worth $5 million

The Tata Nano is the world cheapest car at around $3,000, so it's easy to see why an owner would want to bling it up a bit. But adding millions in gold, silver, and gems seems just a little over the top.

In a move that would make Goldfinger proud, the blinged Nano features 175 pounds of 22-karat gold, 33 pounds of silver and a bucket full of gems. Total value is around $5 million, but that's likely to fluctuate daily with the price of gold.

Tata Motors built the fully functional car with jeweler GoldPlus to celebrate 5,000 years of Indian jewelry making, but alas they say it isn't for sale.
