Dish and Blockbuster to take on Netflix with a new streaming service

Seeking to take advantage of Netflix's recent stumbles, Dish Network and Blockbuster have teamed up for Blockbuster Movie Pass, which will combine discs-by-mail with streaming. The catch? It's only available to current Dish customers.
For $10 a month, Dish customers will get discs (DVDs, Blu-rays and video games) by mail as well as streaming video to their TV or computer. They'll also be able to swap out discs at Blockbuster locations, if they can find one that is still open around them.
Will it cause people to switch over from Netflix? Well, only if they're Dish customers. If it was untied from Dish it might be tempting, but as of now it probably won't make a huge difference.
