Despite the fact that AT&T has been advertising its "4G" network for months, its real 4G network is finally launching this Sunday, according to CFO John Stephens.
On Sunday, AT&T's 4G LTE network, which uses the same tech as Verizon's 4G LTE network, will launch in five cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. It'll then expand to more cities over time in the coming year.
The first 4G AT&T devices are already available, including the HTC Jetstream tablet and the Elevate 4G and Momentum 4G. But if you don't live in one of the aforementioned five cities, you'll probably want to hold off on throwing down cash for one of those guys. It'll take a while for the network rollout to go nationwide.
