Numark iDJ Live integrates a DJ setup with an iPad

DJing is getting further and further away from carting a crate of records around with you. The latest step has Numark letting you DJ using two fake turntables plugged into an iPad.
The Numark iDJ Live looks like a couple of turntables and a mixer at first glance, but those turntables are merely controllers for the speed and direction of the music you're playing off an iPad (or iPhone). The upshot is that having that big ol' touchscreen on board gives you more controls and options at your fingertips. It might not technically involve jockeying discs, but it might be a whole lot easier than what people used to do.
