Liverpool Apple Store pulls all products from the shelves due to riots
Tuesday, August 9, 2011 - 12:45pm
London has been a bit of a mess the past few days, as roving band of rioters have been looting and setting fires across multiple neighborhoods. As the Metropolitan Police tries to get things under control, the Liverpool Apple Store has taken the precaution of removing everything from its shelves.
It makes sense! Those big, glass windows showcasing boatloads of expensive, desirable gadgetry would probably not last too long if the riots made it to Liverpool. Gotta be safe. Hopefully, things will calm down in Merry Olde England soon and Apple can go back to business as usual.
