Apple's iconic Fifth Avenue cube store getting even slicker

Apple's flagship cube store on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan may be fancy-looking, but it's about to get even more fancy-looking, as Apple is planning to replace the glass with fewer, bigger panes.

The current cube is comprised of 90 panes of glass. The new cube will be made of just 15 panes, making it more seamless and even more crazy-looking. They'll be taking down the current cube, make some upgrades to the surrounding plaza structure, and then put it back up in time to unveil it in November.
