The Internet affects how you remember things

So, you think spending all day on the Internet hasn't changed the way your brain works? Think again! A new study has shown that using the Internet affects how we remember things.

Essentially, if you think you'll be able to look up a piece of information later, you won't remember it. If you're under the impression that the info is fleeting and not searchable, you'll actually remember it.

It makes sense! We've gotten so used to having so much info at our fingertips, why waste the brain space on it? Of course, we'd better hope that the internet never goes down. If so, none of us will know how to do anything. But until that happens, let's just keep on keepin' on.
