Aside from having a cool name reminiscent of the God of Thunder, Thorunn Arnadottir's neatest trick is combining influences from several cultures to harness the power of QR codes in fashion.
Originally hailing from Iceland, the London-based designer has created a line of dresses dubbed "QR U" constructed using African beadcraft that display working QR codes embedded in the garment's visual design. Onlookers can simply point their smart phones at the dresses and instantly be taken to the code's associated website. You can check out more of Thorunn's designs here.
