Plastic bike looks like a toy, but rides like the future

Despite various takes on the perfect mode of eco-friendly city transport, the truth is that the ultimate green machine will not only be human-powered, but will be made of recycled materials like the Frii prototype plastic bike.

Designed by Bezalel Academy of Art and Design student Dror Peleg in Israel, the entire vehicle utilizes the power of injection molding to create a bike that is lightweight, colorful, and rolls on plastic-packed tires that cannot go flat. As concepts go, the Frii is entirely realistic, practical, and an immediately usable design curio many of us would pay a premium to own right now.
