Nielsen has just released its Q2 numbers for smartphone subscriptions, and this time they included this nifty infographic that lays it all out beautifully by OS and manufacturer.
What's clear is that Android continues to pick up steam, increasing its lead over the iPhone, while both are putting the screws to BlackBerry. Last year we were wondering whether Windows 7 would have a snowball's chance in hell, and while 9% isn't exactly a total flop, I'm sure Messrs. Ballmer and Gates aren't out dancing in the streets of Redmond.
The real loser is Nokia, who recently threw in the towel and will soon be making Window 7 phones. My only question is, who are those 2% buying Palm webOS devices?
