Google+ will soon be overrun by Farmville and other social games

Google+ users, prepare to have the last of your free time stripped away from you. Google+ games are coming. Yep, all the FarmVille, Mafia Wars and other crap you played on Facebook will start invading your fresh and clean Google+ account.

First rumored at the launch of Google+ last month, Google+ games will be listed under a "Games Stream" page with notifications that don't populate your news feed. *Ahem* Facebook *Ahem*

The page doesn't have anything yet, but clues to the platform were discovered in Google+'s source code. Google+ games should roll out soon, as it looks like the code suggested "Game invites" would be sent out.

There's no official list of what developers and games will be available on Google+. However, it's almost a lock that social gaming giants such as Zynga, makers of FarmVille and Mafia Wars as well as Rovio and their on-every-platform Angry Birds have something planned, considering how hot Google+ is right now.

I might have said that Google+'s red and gray layout puts me to sleep, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate its clean design. I'm hoping social games won't slow it down like it does Facebook or turn it into a platform filled with spam.

Enjoy the last of your freedom, there will be cows to feed and veggies to harvest.
