Apple turns the Cinema Display into a Thunderbolt Display

If you want to buy a monitor from Apple, you now have one choice: the new Thunderbolt Display, which is designed to act as a second monitor to Thunderbolt-equipped Apple laptops.
The monitor features both a Thunderbolt and laptop power cord built in, so you can plug in and charge your laptop right from the monitor. It also acts as a hub for the low-on-ports MacBook Air, featuring three USB ports, a FireWire 800 port, and Ethernet port and a FaceTime camera.
It looks to be a beautiful monitor, with the 27-inch display featuring an impressive 2560x1440 resolution. It won't come cheap, however, with this bad boy setting you back a whopping $1,000.
