The screen-keyed Optimus Mini Six is almost ready

Art Lebedev's Optimus Mini Six keyboard, a six-keyed keyboard accessory with individual screens in each key, has been in the works for a long time. But it looks like it's close to release, as it's just hit the production line.

It's a followup to the original Optimus Maximus keyboard, which was a full-sized keyboard with screens on every key. It was very, very expensive, somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,000. This should be much more affordable than that. It looks like a great option for sticking buttons and macros that you use often, and it sure is pretty. There's no price yet, but hopefully it'll be doable for regular joes.
