Night vision contacts may have aided SEALs in Bin Laden kill

It's no secret that the brave team that raided Osama Bin Laden's compound and shot him dead, U.S. Navy's SEAL Team 6, needs the the best tech the military can provide, like those dogs with titanium teeth, but rumor now has it they may have used night vision contacts.

According to Kit Up's editor Christian Lowe (a guy who's pretty well informed on military tech), he heard a rumor that "contact lenses that literally give the wearer night vision for a limited time without having to wear the bulky, heavy NVGs (Night Vision Goggles)."

Take that for what you will, after all, there's a reason it's a rumor, but it sounds pretty cool if it's true. So far, a whopping amount of comments have literally picked the possibility of a night vision contact lens to bits, declaring it a sci-fi concept folktale dream, but knowing how top-secret the military is (they had a friggin AT-AT at some point!), it wouldn't surprise us at all if this stuff was real or in the process of being prototyped as we speak.
