Korea plans to deploy teaching robot to schools around the globe

The race to ramp up efficiency in teaching is heating up in Asia via a new robot that has been introduced to South Korean schools.
The KIRO robot, developed by Korea's Robot Institute, was originally designed to serve as a museum guide, but the response to the robot was so positive the creators reprogrammed it for testing in schools as an educational aid for teachers. Contrary to some domestic-only robots we seen coming out of Japan, the makers intend to market the KIRO to the U.S. in the near future. You can seen the KIRO in action in the video below.
