Celebrate America by watching fireworks explode at 2,000fps

Nothing says "America!" quite like fireworks. And how can you improve on watching fireworks explode? You can watch them explode in super-duper slo-mo.

Popular Science filmed a bunch of fireworks exploding in various substances using the Phantom v641 camera from New Jersey's Vision Research. It's able to film in HD at a downright-crazy 2,000fps. Ever wondered how mayonnaise reacts to being exploded? Wonder no more! USA! USA! USA!
