Fresh air can be a pretty scarce commodity in a big city like New York, so NYU design student Hana Marie Newman decided to make a statement to that effect, with this wild looking dress that comes complete with its own self-contained oxygen supply.

Simply named "8", the dress instantly reminded me of something Lady Gaga might wear, although Newman makes no mention of her as an inspiration. She did say that her goal with 8 was to get a conversation started, rather than proposing this as a realistic solution to the problem of pollution.
